Cafe Extrablatt in Bergisch Gladbach

On October 31, 2020 we were for the first (and probably for the last time) in the Extrablatt in GL. We just wanted to drink a Kölsch and have a dessert. Unfortunately, there was neither a Kölsch (because you probably didn't want to open a keg before the lockdown) nor the legendary dessert cube that we know from the branches we have visited so far. In addition, the service was more than slow and uninterested. It's a shame, because all the other branches we know are top ...

The food is delicious and the staff are very, very friendly! The wraps and burgers are particularly recommended. In the current situation in particular, ordering and picking up works perfectly! The extra sheet is really recommendable :)

So first of all the 2 stars are for the first two times when me and my husband were there (the time when it was reopened) .. The service was still good and we also eat ... Then we hadn't been there for a while about 5 or 6 months later we wanted to go there again ... So we were so disappointed with the service! Especially since everyone is so young and you can tell that they have 0 experience in cellars / service! All well and good we all started but you have to explain and show them !! We waited 20 minutes at almost 7 occupied tables for someone to come ... We looked for eye contact with those who were ignored anyway ... Then of course we left ... Then 1 month later we tried our luck again (on mine Wish) to give one last chance ... what can I say we were also noted that we are sitting there and waiting but we just looked and chatted! That was enough and went again ... I think now that things are going well, the 2 guests no longer matter either .. Simply disappointing and bold! New owner ?!

I love to be there. Very friendly service and a very nice team. It is my second home. Hopefully I can go back there soon. Because there is a great Corona Hygiene concert there.

I was their guest yesterday afternoon. First of all, it took me forever to order. I have often tried to draw attention to myself with Blick Kontakt. When I was finally noticed I was able to place my order. (chicken salad and still water) Unfortunately I was disappointed again when my food arrived. There were leftovers on the plate, probably not properly washed. In addition, the meat was already cold when it got to me. Because of the many positive reviews, I wanted to give it a try, but was immensely disappointed.

Long drinks don't taste as one is used to, slow service; We were asked 2 times in 3 hours if we would like to order new drinks, 1 time of which we were brought wrong drinks, which were then also incorrectly on the final bill, the bills of all customers were printed out and sorted at the table by the waiter. The fact that it is closed at 11 p.m. is not a problem because of the current situation, but we were thrown out of the store so carelessly that we will thoroughly rethink a second visit. In addition, the table lighting was cleared from the table while you were still eating and that at around 10:15 p.m.

It was very nice, everything went well. From the service, food and ambience everything was great. Will definitely be back.

I am happy to share all positive comments, except for the noise level! Finding the right mix for the mixed audience is a task. Many of my friends and acquaintances share my opinion, and like me, unfortunately, apart from further visits, it is a pity! I understand music as background music, I am aware that a younger audience sees it differently or doesn't perceive it that way. Maybe you have an idea (other guests) escape to come. Thank you H. Great lunch menu at a great price. The Käsespätzle were delicious. Generally a super large Café Extrablatt with nice staff. The burgers there are also highly recommended. There is something for everyone on the menu. We have been there twice now and would love to come back.

Cafe Extrablatt brings life to Bergisch Gladbach's shopping street. Nice that it is so. Doesn't always have to be Cologne or certainly not Leverkusen.

I like to be here, great service no matter what special edition I'm in. St Augustin, Leverkusen or Bergisch Gladbach. Everywhere you sit, always great service, super delicious food, clean and a great atmosphere! More than 5 stars ... I always like to come back to Extrablatt.

You can get very good cocktails & burgers here. The service isn't great though. Special requests were not taken into account and you wait quite a long time here until the order is accepted and the food is brought. The ambience is quite pleasant, even if the music is loud and the lights are dimmed in the evening. Depending on what kind of ambience you are looking for here, you should consider that.

Tonight I was a guest at the Extrablatt with my girlfriend. We have been here many times, now I finally have to leave a review. As always, we were very satisfied! Despite the large selection, we both ordered a Mexican burger. Although we had the same dish, both burgers were different based on our preferences. We could choose between light and dark rolls and choose different dips. Even special requests are catered for (my girlfriend doesn't like to eat spicy, that's why the jalapenos were left out). The cocktails are great and unbeatably cheap, especially during happy hour. The staff is always friendly and seems to be well divided. Our waiter Turgut kept us happy the whole evening. We always love to come back !!

Great food: We had breakfast there and the buffet was great 👍🏻 The hygiene concept was also great, because every guest should use their own pliers for the buffet 👍🏻 The staff was very friendly! One point of criticism can be that the staff was understaffed for the amount of customers.

CAFE EXTRABLATT RESTAURANT IS LOCATED IN THE CENTRAL AREA OF BERGISCH GLADBACH WITH MANY INSTRUCTIONS SUCH AS POSTBANK, KRANKENKASA, OPHTHALISTS OR DENTISTS ETC. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE WHERE YOU CAN SIT AND EAT LUNCH, DRINK A COFFEE A BEER OR WAIT FOR SOMEONE WHO IS AT THE DOCTOR'S OR MAKES THE CASE IN ANY CIRCULAR INSTITUTION

Lovely vegan meal with felafel and salad. The pizza can also be ordered vegan. Fresh drinks and very courteous service.

VERY FRIENDLY STAFF IF I COULD I GIVE 10 STARS FOR IT. The food was very pleasant and tasty, the waiting time was extremely short and very friendly, you couldn't complain, even the prices were within reasonable limits. My conclusion they will NOT have seen me for the last time. GREAT TEAM TO CONTINUE.

Yes Yes Yes ! Extrablatt Bergisch Gladbach is highly recommended. We were there for breakfast today, were served quickly, the food was great! PS Have never been served so well and with humor (*) the 6th star for our waiter

I just want to praise it! I was visiting for the first time this morning. Service / breakfast - selection and drinks deserve 5 stars. (Special) hygiene measures fully met and well explained by the waiter I'm looking forward to the next time

Loved this food Chain restaurant, no matter which restaurant you visit the standards are almost same and food quality is always top and there staff always on there best. This branch in Bergish Gladbach is really well designed and looked really elegant.

Was here for the first time and had a positive experience. The ordered dishes came relatively quickly and were very tasty. The waitresses were friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, despite the reservation of the table and the food, we were moved to the front area, where several tables were pushed together and it got quite tight. The music was also a little too loud. The only thing that really didn't taste was the alcohol-free cocktail .. just too sweet and even the detox water with ginger was also sugared. Still, I would come back for food!

Nice cafe where there are also meals. I enjoyed it very much. Although it is a large cafe, we were served quickly and friendly. Due to the size of course the noise level is high, which is a pity.
